With the curfew lifted and as things slow down for the holiday season, it’s time you dusted off that sequin dress! A classic smokey eye was always my go-to for a night out. It’s giving sexy & mysterious energy, and I am here for it! I filmed this tutorial for those looking to switch up their makeup for an event or party under the stars. I hope you enjoy this tutorial – xoxo.
As a previous freelance makeup artist, I was always a part of one’s glam team and behind the camera on set. When Eve from Blanco Creative invited me to her studio for a glam session, I was excited to be the muse for once. She’s one of Kenya’s most talented professional makeup artists, so I was confident that am in safe hands. Plus her warm, bubbly energy made the session fun and memorable.
The holiday season is already here! December has been truly busy and intense. I have been feeling burnout and a little demotivated, but I still wanted to make sure I put out great content! If it isn’t evident already, I love getting dolled up, especially during special occasions.
I am starting the new month feeling creative and hopeful. I can feel the year’s heaviness finally lifting. Today’s makeup look was sparked by Stephanie Ng’ang’a‘s #ScarfChallengeKE, which invited content creators and makeup artists to put together a creative makeup look inspired by their fav scarves. It’s been a while since I played with colourful shadows and I was feeling super nervous about how this makeup look would turn out. Let’s just say the final result totally put my worries at bay 😊
